In our Geography work on Brazil, we were distressed to learn about the destruction of vast swathes of the rainforest for palm oil manufacturing. In our English work, we learned how to write persuasive letters and used these skills to write to our local MP and the CEO of Nestle, to persuade them to take action to end unsustainable palm oil production.
