What a fantastic day we had exploring Martin Mere! Opal Class really enjoyed pond dipping to find creatures that were living in the water. We went on a walk around the wetlands and discovered lots of birds that were living there. We were interested to see the Lego models of the birds and read the signs to see how many lego bricks had been used. We were really interested in finding the bug houses after talking about these in class last week. We used a minibeast spotter card to name the bugs that we found. All of the children were so well behaved and polite throughout their day at Martin Mere and this was commented on by the staff who work there. Well done Opal Class!
