In RE, Emerald Class are learning about special places. This week, we went up to our church to investigate some of the reasons why churches are special places for Christians. Rev Tracy greeted us and showed us lots of exciting things inside and outside the church building. We explored all sorts of intriguing things, including stained glass windows, the stations of the cross, prayer kneelers, the Pascale candle, the font, the altar, a golden eagle lectern, pews, the pulpit and even a secret cupboard!
